Hyper Tonik | Insert your restore disk but do not reboot, now on your desktop go to My Computer>Disk Drive and double click on it. Now find a folder called drivers, and drive and install your video card driver again, either that or visit the maker of your video cards site, and download it from there. Hope that helps. |

AChimp | Actually, they just programmed it not to like you. Once Windows realizes that you're around, it goes into hiding. |

Anonymous | Most likely the people that fixed it ran it in a higher resolution or refresh rate than your monitors can handle. Follow whoreable's advice to boot in safe mode, then adjust and apply your resolution and color settings to something small so you can boot normally and adjust them from there. |

whoreable | sounds like a case of the video driver. try to boot to safe mode, (tap f8 as soon as windows starts to load.) |

DAMN YOU COMPUTER!!! I just got my computer back from the store with a $100 bill for "fixing" the piece of shit and now whenever the loading windows screen finishes and it's about to load my desktop, my monitor turns off. Well, it doesn't turn off but it goes black. I tried another monitor and the same thing happens so I'm guessing it's the computer or a really weird coincidence. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? |
