Good going, ziggy. that means more work for the community service workers. "Aww, shit, this pick won't pick up the butts. Guess I'll have to use my hands." |

ziggytrix | I know excatly what you mean Danno! That's why I only throw butts out of my car when I'm on the freeway, where people aren't allowed to walk.

I feel if you smoke, it is your job to pick up butts, even if not yours... I carry around an Altoids container to put butts in. I also pick up litter on the street, beach, et cetra. Just because you have a dirty habit doesn't mean you have to be dirty. |

I don't smoke, mainly because my dad is a smoker and has been trying to quit for as long as I can remember. I don't want to spend over twenty years trying to stop doing something. Also, the whole cancer thing. But I just stay away from regular tobacco. I smoke way too much of the wacky variety. I spent the past six weeks (since the end of the semester) walking around in a pot-smoke cloud, a la Pig Pen from the Peanuts. Except with smoke instead of dirty and odor. It wouldn't have lasted that long, except I made the Dean's List and thought "all right, let's celebrate!" |

re I think indignant smokers are worse than self righteous non-smokers. The worst thing about smoking is that it makes the world look a bit uglier and dirtier. I hate seeing cigarette butts on the ground. It doesn't bother me at bars/concerts where one expects smoking but I hate seeing the sidewalks lined with cigarette butts. Those of you who love to smoke, do what you want but those of you who want to quit, please do take the effort. |

my dad is extremely anti-smoking, the judgmental-from-hell type. his dad died when my dad was 16, and he blames it on the cigs. everywhere he goes, he's always bitching about the smoke. b&g. constantly. so, my ex went to pick up our son from my parents' house the other week, and he'd just lit up a cigarette. "what do you get out of those things?" my dad asked him through the crack in the storm door. "cancer," my ex told him, as he exhaled right in his face. it makes me lol. |

I smoked practically everyday for a few months and then quit... I experienced no withdrawl whatesover. I smoke occasionly because it's relaxing and it's something to keep you occupied while you're taking a break at work. I can't stand smoking now though-- My mouth/throat have nasty taste after i've smoked a few and it doesn't go away for a day or so... fucking nasty. I could care less if people smoke though, the smell doesn't bother me at all. (I have asthma too) |

Geggy | That works best for indoor seeds. The best place to plant the outdoor seeds is nearby a pond in the forrest.

kahljorn | Don't soak them in water Get a damp washcloth, it works better. Just keep it damp.

not my words- but they would be if i had thought of them 1st "In parks. On lots. Public flower beds. In remote places. At City Hall. Wherever. Whenever. Or start a plantation in your closet (but read up on it first for that). For casual planting, its best to soak them in water for a day and plant in a bunch of about 5, about half an inch deep. Don't worry much about the weather, they know when the weather is wrong and will try to wait for nature. Don't soak them if its wintertime. Seeds are a very hearty life form and strongly desire to grow and flourish. But some of them need people's help to get started. Plant your seeds." |

noob3 | Cigarettes are great. I mean, I couldn't smoke them consistantly because I'm poor. But having a pack of Newports while downing a bag of pot is great. :cool

I will give Rongi a 3.5 for his 7.5 Some people may say I am harsh in Rongi's point scale but there really isn't any written review for me to give him a higher score. I rather like Radio head and was actually looking forward to a true written review and critique from Rongi. |

I don't understand how one would start smoking if they already know it's hazardous to their health. It's almost like putting your head underneath a lawn mower while trying to figure out why it won't start. Ok, now this is just fucked up. When I clicked on this thread, an pop up ad for nicorette gum came to the screen. Did anyone else get this? |
