F. Paul Wilson

Just picked up my first book, The Tomb, by him. I found him by accident just casually browsing through the library for new reading. So far, in my opinion, he is the best horror/fantasy writer that I've read in quite some time next to Stephen King and Dean Koontz. Acutally, he's probably closer to H.P. Lovecraft in style. I especially like his novels featuring "Repairman Jack, a recurring, do-gooding, noir character a la Batman. What's odd is that he is, apparent by his bibliography in the cover jacket, quite the prolific author with works ranging from novels to novellas to short stories to comic book narrations yet I've never heard of him before. Has anyone ever heard of this author before and, if so, what works would you recommend by him?
