If you're running Win 9x, you can run msconfig to control what loads during start-up. It could also be a new program that you installed recently. :/ |

scan for spyware check bootlog.txt for failures (do some searches to single out what failures are appropriate) eliminate excessive programs from start-up, too |

Slow boot times My mom's Gateway has suddenly start to take about five minutes to boot up, for some reason. Anyone know the reason/how to fix the problem? |
