Maybe, maybe not. Generally there is not a system on the planet that can run the Neo Geo as good as a Neo Geo. Credit the only reason is that the game carts are in fact the systems memory, like a custom setup very much like and dedicated arcade system. Plus PS2/Dreamcast/Saturn Neo GEO games actually had to cut their frame rate to keep th espeed up, credit the CD systems having to load into a still small memory RAM to read from. For the the Cart is the RAM, everything is instant. But a HACKED x-box is nice, you can do a lot with them. Anyone interested in it? |

| Mockery | I just want to get an X-Box when they go down to like 60 bux some day, get a nice big hard drive installed on it, and then have every Neo Geo game ever put on the thing. |

Want the Best gaming Ever!?!?!?! NEO GEO, Fully Modded Been trying to sell but is up on EBAY right now, it is a fully modded Neo Geo AES system with 5 games, 2 contollers, it is a bargin if you know what these systems are worth, a fully modded one from the NEO store costs $500+ without anything. Comes with Samuri Showdown 1-2, AOF2, FFspecial, and Soccer brawl. It is modded in the fast that it runs S-Video instead of A/V, and has a Bios chip to set it to arcade mode (EVEN says insert coin on the TV) to get blood, bounce, un limited continues, and even set dips<-------think Game shark but for every game built in. lemy know. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=4315 Best gaming system EVER, came out in 1989 and STILL make games for it, most recently comming out is Streetfighter Vs. SNK. This game will be out for PS2 and XBOX but the best graphics and animation will STILL be on the NEO GEO. Its harware allows the best 2D animation as it doesn't rely on the loading of data into a limited 2mb or 4mb chip to read from while multitasking music. The Neo Geo system is unique in that it has NO MEMORY, the cartridge itself IS teh Memory, custim chips and drivers, infact it has two slots, one for sound and one for pics, and they dedicate over 100Megs alone to sound on good games. This setup allows instant access to the memory, no loading, or delay, just like the Arcades, infact it is an arcade system, same exact found in the Arcade, open up a Neo Geo arcade system and you will find a row of Carts in a borad. This is why games cost $200-$1000+, and another weird thing is that Neo Geo graphics ARE NOT rendered, they are actually all hand drawn animations, each and every one, and then digitized, another reason for the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$ Anyways if you know what this system does, you will know that this is a steal, I need $$$$$ for my car to make it faster. email me for more info |
