crash0814 I love Tortoise, but I've just never took the time to check out any of the side projects.

Royal Tenenbaum Papa M is sort of more Will Oldham, applachian folk style type stuff. Aerial M, and early Papa M ("Live from a Shark Cage") are like a melodic, softer, Slint.

btw. Sea and Cake's drummer is the drummer from Tortoise. Pajo was in Tortoise for Millions Now Living Will Never Die and TNT (bass only on this I believe).

Drew Katsikas I saw the Sea and Cake live, and I think they're related to tortoise. Tortoise is pretty sick, but they're nothing compared to their roots. Check out Neu! if you dig 'em.

Papa M - Aerial M

Does anyone else listen to Papa M (or M, Aerial M, M is the Thirteenth Letter) here? I doubt it, but I'm sure theres some Slint fans at least, or Tortoise, any David Pajo project. Papa M is my personal favourite of his work, since it is his band, or well, him recording under that name.
