Les Waste Haha, I just noticed that. I didn't spell check it!

There wasn't an online version and I didn't feel like scanning it so I just typed it up and didn't do a very good job.

And I ain't fixing it

Jixby Phillips Yes, but have you been quoted in Geggy's signature yet?

Because if you haven't, then I'm afraid it's just not worth starting a new thread over. Sorry.

OMG!! I'M FAMOUS!! FINALLY!!

The following brief appeared in the October 15 issue of the National On-Campus Report newsletter, a national, high-circulation newsletter that "reports on trends in campus life outside the classroom."

Quote:
FLASH MOBS -- Fifty to 100 students at Cornell University in New York held what was reportedly teh campus' first-ever flash mob last month. The "Project Free Love" participants, who received directions via cell phone, instant messanging, e-mail, or by visiting the project's website, gathered at the campus plaza at 1:18 p.m. to dispense hugs to one another for two minutes and then disperse. However, there are signs that the appeal of flash mobs -- which some commentators have likened to group performance art -- has already slipped. Project Free Love's organizer, a Duke sophomore, said he was disappointed in the low turnout, given how many students were aware of it. And University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh student columnist Chris Becker takes satiric shots at the fad in a recent issue of the campus' Advanced-Titan. He notes that one flash mob "met three different times in one week! It gathered at one of the . . . lecture pits at 10:20 on a Monday, and then again the following Wednesday, and once more on Friday. Everyone pretended to listen to some bloated gasbag in a tweed jacket while they doodled and sent text messages on their cell phones for one hour, and then they all dispersed. While that flash mob was monumental, it was still on some level disappointing because many of hte people who showed up on Monday did not show up on Friday."
Oh fuck. Oh fuckity fuck fuck. That's awesome
