I started reading this post without looking at the dates and started getting confused then feeling sorry for glow for having another baby so soon (having to face pain and vomit and stuff all over again) and then realising it was the original baby after all. Damnit. Still love those little baby scan images you lot did haha. |

Terra | I think they do that around the twentieth week, sometimes a week or two before (forgot how far along you were). My best friend just delivered her first born yesterday and I was there to coach her and cut the baby's cord. The entire experience was totally humbling to me and I felt blessed to be part of it. As tough as it was to be a coach, it was heart wrenching to feel helpless when she was in her final stage of delivery. They ended up giving her something at that last stage to ease her along (trithecal?? It was a weird name) and she was able to enjoy the birth of her daughter. I can't tell you how happy I am for you and having gotten to participate in Jada's birth is life changing. | |

went to the doctor on friday and heard the little creature's heartbeat, which sounded more like a really fast staticky choo choo train, than a heartbeat, but at least it was making some kind of noise, right? right. i thought i might get another picture but i didn't i did, however, get a pap test done with no lube. girls, you can only imagine how uncomfortable this is. guys, i'm not even going to try to explain. |

one of few. Ultrasounds always look gross. Sometimes organs get onscreen and look wacky. |
