editedit: since it has a cane i'm guessing they were either thinking about useing a trained monkey for Yoda instead of a puppet or they were figuring out how yoda would move or something.

10,000 Volt Ghost When episode 2 or 3 came out I was working at media play. This old guy came in and told me about the series being 9 installments. He kept an old newspaper with it detailing the story where everyone was going to die besides Chewie.

Tadao I heard rumor when after Jedi came out that he had written all 6 out before he directed his first movie. I never cared to check though cause we didn't have the internet back then.

The only original trilogy film he directed was Star Wars. He didn't even write the script for the Empire Strikes Back, he just did an outline of the movie and gave input.

It's sad to think that now two of the directors of the original Star Wars films are no longer with us. ROTJ director Richard Marquand died in 1987.
