also if you like recent 2d animation, have you seen michel ocelot's films (kirikou, princes and princesses, azur and asmar (ok that one is cgi but it's beeeaaaaautiful (except for the character models))? they're great and pretty and i just got a french dvd of some of his early stuff and short films. anyway he has a new series currently airing on french television, i might buy the french dvd as it's released on the 30th of this month, but i highly doubt it'll have secret english subtitles! |

Phoenix Gamma | Wikipedia says all three. The only confirmed ones so far are the ones with "Backson" and the one with Eeyore's missing tail. And whichever one involves Pooh tripping balls (again). They're really just short stories though; it's nothing more criminal than, say the animated series. |

MLE | Which books. There is one that someone made AFTER the original author died. And the original author wanted nothing more written on it. |

Oh shit, son! New Winnie the Pooh movie! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDq7VaNKTJk I'm really only excited because Disney hasn't done a proper 2D animated movie in years. (EDIT: Oh right. Princess and the Frog. I never met anyone who showed a passing interest in that movie). I think this is the first Disney sequel that isn't straight to DVD/VHS too, so that's pretty cool. And the animation is really pretty. We need more cartoons that aren't a bunch of flash tweening. Craig Ferguson is the new voice for Owl. He's a weird fit though. |
