People do know, but do have any idea what that information is actually worth? Seriously, MS charges an arm and a leg for tech support you are getting for free.

Look at the name of the site. Ball breaking is coming with whatever you ask.

And look what executioneer did. He did an actual fucking search. Quite an amazing accomplishment.

Pro system, you must disable simple file sharing in the control panel/folder
options/view tab. For a WinXP Home system, you must restart in safe mode and
logon as administrator. More details here:

An additional note for WinXP Pro users: This procedure will not help you
recover data if the files are encrypted. All you will be able to do is
delete them. To recover encrypted files you will need the original
encryption certificate or a Recovery Agent from the installation under which
they were encrypted. Without one of these, the files are not recoverable.

dieglamourous I think it was implied that it does not ask me for a password. It only tells me that access is denied.

AChimp I always log into my computer as Administrator. That way I don't have to deal with this kind of shit.

McClain There is a way around your problem. It's called "knowing the password." AMAZING!

McClain Don't mind Ziggy. He's not much of a help, is he? Sheesh.

Here's what you need to do. Open up your computer and look for any folders. This can be difficult 'cause sometimes it gets really dusty in there. Be sure not to touch anything you don't recognize!

ziggytrix yeah, you'll need a 12,500 gauss magnet, a spool of copper wire, a metal file, at least 3 strike-anywhere matches, a bottle of wood alcohol (methanol), and half a dozen cotton swabs...

wait, what???

Accessing folders!

So, I had to reinstall Windows XP. Before when I did this, my old documents folder was still there and I was able to get into it without any problems...This time, since I had a password on my account before I reinstalled it this time, it won't let me get into the folder...Is there any way around this?
