re:

yes, this thread should definitely die a quick, but gruesome death since noone has even mentioned Suspiria or The Shining, much less noted that those are without a doubt the greatest movie soundtracks of all time...

If you mean the old-school Charlie then I'm completely amenable to that. That Veruca Salt song is the ish. And the one where charlie's mom is doing laundry....and the one that Mariah Carey made a bad remix from.... omg.

I also like the soundtrack to Go.

Pram Maven Among the best that I have owned, are The Crow II:City of Angels, Bride of Chucky, Strangeland, Romeo + Juliet, Nightmare Before Christmas, Great Expectations, Singles, Spawn, and Queen of the Damned.

Some of these titles I bought more than once because I wore the tape out on the player. If it was a CD, then it got scratched to hell and had to be replaced, or it was stolen from a Taxi that I forgot it in, along with the rest of my collection.

When you can go to a CD retailer and buy a score of a movie under the "Soundtracks" section... I usually consider that a soundtrack... Usually. Although I am aware they are different.
