has to at least be plugged in tho. you can completely submerge and soak a keyboard and as long as it's 100% dry before you plug it back in, it'll be fine. some people have cleaned theirs in dishwashers on the top rack, but i wouldn't recommend putting one thru the drying cycle!! |

Doesn't even have to be turned on to short it out. Happened to me once and it royally fucked it up. I mean hitting the c key and getting adhga;iq. |

I accidentally spilled water on my keyboard. :( If the keyboard was used while being wet, would that short it out? |
