I think Red Sea was better than Celestial. And Oceanic had its heavy moments as did Panopticon.

FartinMowler anyone heard of Don Caballero? A band was looking for a bassist and mentioned they liked this band...I checked them out on Youtube and thougth it was ok.

The new Isis album.

So "In the Abscense of Truth" came out in October so this is a late post. I got it when it came out but I'm listening to it for the first time. They're my favorite for the instrumental (for the most part) metal scene (following Pelican). I wanted to know if anyone else got the record and liked how they cleaned up the vocals and turned the amps down. It makes a good record to spin. Not too heavy, not too mellow.
