Tadao Yeah, I think it was a case of too much shit happening all at once. I guess there were live crowds of screaming teens to deal with too.

So maybe the reaction time was right and it was unfortunate that the fire really started cooking down low on the back of this head.
Well that makes more sense...but it does seem the crew only reacted when M.J. noticed and (understandably) started to freak out.

The thing that gets me is that nobody seemed to notice that his SCALP WAS FULLY IN FLAMES. You'd think a crew member would've shouted to him when they saw that his hair was clearly on fire and that he hadn't noticed.

Tadao Yeah, I guess no one really realized how bad it really was. It was on fire longer than I thought and his scalp looked fucked up.

Jeanette X *bump*
Footage from the 1984 Pepsi commercial where M.J.'s hair caught fire got leaked:

And holy shit did that look like it hurt.

Tadao I would buy insurance off of him.

VaporTrailx1 Well, the kid's sure as hell not going to be anything like a lawyer. would you honestly take legal advice from someone named Blanket? Welcome to blanket law services...
Jul 10th, 2009 02:51 PM
Dimnos Well Joe knows, of course.
Jul 10th, 2009 02:39 PM
Tadao Joe knows they want fame and money.
Jul 10th, 2009 02:34 PM
Dimnos My favorite part... How all these media people who have never met the kids or even talked to them know exactly what they want.

Tadao "Meanwhile, Joe Jackson told ABC that he and his wife, Katherine, should have custody of Michael's three children. "They'll grow up to be strong Jacksons," he said. He said Michael's daughter, Paris, who spoke at the Tuesday memorial service, was taking the death hard and was crying whenever Michael's name is mentioned. He said that she might have a future in the entertainment business along with the youngest son, nicknamed Blanket, who "can really dance.""

Hahahahaha GO JOE!

Kitsa I was watching the media frenzy surrounding the "memorial service" on a waiting-room TV and I actually heard a reporter say, "He's a deity."

.....a deity? Really?

, really? They're not as out there as MJ but still pretty ridiculous. They might be able to slide around at Jermaine's house....because he's greasy.

ChrisGlass The man had great taste in video games. That big auction of his had really nice shit from his arcade.

Jeanette X Have you seen pictures of his kids? I have my doubts that he's the biological father. I mean, its one thing for a multiracial child to be fair-skinned, but Paris Jackson has blue eyes. It isn't impossible for a child with an African-American parent to be blue-eyed, given that most African-Americans have a degree of distant white ancestry, but its very unlikely.

I wouldn't want to see them raised by their biological mother or by their grandparents, personally. Hopefully they end up in the custody of one of their uncles, most of MJ's brothers seem to have their heads on straight.
