soundtest bit torrent can be good. get a client like azureus and open up a port on your router for it and you'll get much better speeds.

ScruU2wice I started with them so we'll se how it works out.

I really dislike kazaa so I don't wann go back to anything like that hopefully It won't be as bad since i won't be downloading any .exe files, just yet.

It's goin soooo slow though. 1. kb/s right now but it started at like 20 and went exponentially donw

Perndog The only bad thing I've found with BitTorrent is that it sucks up your upstream bandwidth. As always, viruses and adware only come in .exe files and scripts, so don't download those and you'll be fine.

MrAdventure the biggest problem i have had with bittorrent is actually findind anything i want to download, because apparently the only people that have bit torrent are complete fags with nothing but vin deisel on their hard drive

i have been looking for "they call me bruce" and "they still call me bruce" and "the last dragon" and "project A" for ages with no luck

ps that's my way of asking you queers if you know a place to get these

Alive I know theres "bits" of torrents that you can unknowingly snag from "watched" servers and get busted (they were getting letters from there isp's telling them to remove the file and not download it again) i just read something about that.
maybe someone here knows a little more about it.

EDIT: yes there is sharing involved (though still risky) supposidly the more you share the faster your downloads will be or something like that. but still not 100% safe, its just another form of p2p.

Bit Torrents

ok I know everything on the internet has its trade offs, so i'm wondering what the tradeoff is with bit torrents like the ones you can get from supernova.

It just seems too good to be true and i'm always being suspicious of viruses and spyware. do i have to share these with people somehow?
