I never owned it, but I did go to the house of a school friend that I actually hated to play it a few times. I remember spending at least an hour giving money to strippers. |

Sam | It wouldn't be Duke Nukem without any shaft-play! |

Dr. Boogie | It sounds like they borrowed a lot from Half Life, what with the constant vent and shaft-play, and the numerous sections where you drive a vehicle, but pop out every now and then to solve a puzzle. |

Nick | It looked like more of what I loved about Duke Nukem 3D. |

Nick | I wish it was a publicity stunt. |

LordSappington | I forgot my 360 was on when I picked it up, and that put a swift end to my copy. |

Zhukov | I was extremely impressed with Quake 4. Unfortunately a friend of mine sold my copy to someone in Malaysia. |

Zomboid | In which distinguished Mexican news source did you read that? |

Dr. Boogie | I liked Resurrection of Evil. It seemed more like the original Doom, in that there was more action and less creeping around in the dark. |

LordSappington | Kinda made it require less skill, too, especially when te Soul Cube came along and wimped the game up. |

Tadao | Yeah, there was no arena of terror huh? |

I think id could do it. Especially with Take Two on the side. On a side note, the only reason I was disappointed in Doom 3 was because the original DOOMs had you against huge swarms of enemies in large spaces; Doom 3 had you going against only ten at a time, at the most. |

didnt they start over making this several times? there are probably a few half finished versions just waiting to be leaked. It is hard to believe they could drop the ball so bad on such a huge franchise(at the time). |

Tadao | I disliked doom 3 for some reason. Maybe because I remeber when I used to play Doom 1 and 2 and I was always nervous and kinda scared when I played. I remember one day catching myself side strafing into an elevator in real life and though, fuck that game is messin with me. 3 just didn't do that. I don't think id is all that funny and Duke would probably lose what I enjoyed about it anyways. I mean shooting strippers and seeing bills fly around the room. OMFG AHAHAHA LOLZ!!!!010101 |

Dr. Boogie | Eh, I wasn't that impressed with Doom 3 or Quake 4. I don't feel like any more time in development is going to help this game. 17 years in development is going to have a big effect on how people judge it, and I'd rather not have id waste money on it. |

Tadao | Nah, I would rather see id get the rights and take 5 years to make a game we all can enjoy. Using the newest Quake engine of course. It would really put a nail in Unreal cause they did in 5 years what Unreal couldn't ever. And we know id is all about pimping thier engine. Or am I old and this isn't what happens anymore. |

Pff. I'd rather some ex-employee just leak a copy of what they have so far so that everyone can see how much they accomplished in 12 years. I certainly wouldn't want to show off something like that if I were them, but maybe an angry secretary will grab a copy of the build on the way out. |
