10,000 Volt Ghost | Just played it for 360 last night. Yoda needs to not be in this game. You can't grab him and a lot of moves go right over his head.

RPGmaker | Finished off the Tower (acending) last night .... I think i have a $60 paperweight, As a matter of fact i do. The apprentice character (The main character from The Force Unleashed) cheap as hell. His design in the game is not for the combo savy players just the button mashers . I really likes the Character creation system and how the gear / weapons helped or hindered the character. This game just has zero replay value. Oh well live and learn going to start Spectral Force 3 tonight, looks like a Brigidine / Shining Force 2 hybrid so i hope it plays well.

10,000 Volt Ghost | For DOA2 I used to get bored and play my hands against my feet. I feel like my hands beat feet 6-4 outa 10.

It all just seems like some bizarre pyramid scheme. You play the game at a friend's house, find out you're really good at it, buy it yourself, learn EVERYTHING, get beaten by someone who later goes out and buys it. There's something about 3D fighting games that gives such power to the player with the lesser experience. |

That's the truth. I was at a party not too long ago and some guys were playing it. I gave it a go (never had played SC before) and beat that ass. So much so that I was called a fag as well as hearing, "Anyone who does the same move over and over MattJack, sucks at this game." So after making short work with those guys I started getting down the buttons and moves. After I got down that, my buddy's g/f came over and beat my ass. She had never played before and that's when it all became full circle for me To win, the game just requires you to roll your face on the controller rly |

Chojin | Yeah, SC is one of those games that the more you play, the worse you get at it :<

No, Soul Calibur can always be won against another person by Irish Stepdancing on your controller, using the same bullshit combo over and over again, or blocking the other guy's attack and hitting them once, then going back to blocking. It's really infuriating after you've spent 12 hours kicking the AI's ass and thinking you are HOT SHIT for it, since that part of the game is really, really hard, and then getting destroyed by a 5 year old's tactics of spamming throws for 15 seconds. All other fighting games are fundamentally flawed like this, but Soul Calibur takes the fucking cake, no question. |

I have never, ever played a Soul Calibur game. At a friend's house last night I played against four or five people that played the previous Soul Caliburs with some relative frequency, including a girl who was reportedly really really good with Xianghou (??). I used Raphael under recommendation from a friend that he was enough of an asshole that I would enjoy playing as him because I love playing as arrogant douchebags in fighting games. I either button-mashed or did a forward-forward-vertical attack that made him exclaim "TIME TO PERISH," every single match, and I didn't lose once. I mean, what the fuck? I understand it's a new game but theoretically some fundamentals should carry over and theoretically a block-and-counterpunch stratagem shouldn't be utterly flawless. The game feels like a giant joke I'm not in on, which makes me feel like I'm the one the joke is on, which makes me angry. |

10,000 Volt Ghost | I played 4 last night. I didn't like Vader though, he seemed really sluggish.

Angryhydralisk | The Original Soul Calibur's still my favorite of the bunch. And as far as gimmicky secret characters, Darth Vader would be the way to go, albeit an expensive way, but a way no-less.

i can't begin to imagine why anyone would be interested in a game series that has become so lame they just decided to throw in popular characters seemingly at random what, was cloud strife/sephiroth not available, guys |

MarioRPG | Ohhhh. I Thought this was for like, Sim City 4 and was generally confused. I might rent it, just to sort of go through the motions. I get bored of fighting games fast, though.
