It's one of my all time favorites - right behind the dark tower books. Highly recommended.

I read the complete and unabridged version, though...I heard he's got a newer version out now. Can't vouch for that one.

UtterParadox I'd read it, but I have about 1,336 books yet to go from my book club that I haven't read, and that table still hasn't had its legs repaired yet...

Spectre X I read the newer version, the 1421 pages long one. It ruled. I definately reccomend it, it was really awesome.

"The Stand"

I've been trying to get my hands on that book, reading some reviews and so on, but I know some of you may have read it...If you did so, how was the book and do you recommend it?

Also, share about any other books with post-apocalyptic settings that you might've enjoyed reading. Thank you in advance
