Stak Oh man, Smash Bros

I haven't played in a while, but I still can't wait for Smash Bros Online

Mario is my best character, but I'm also pretty good with Zelda and Bowser

EDIT: oh shits, I just noticed that this thread hasn't been posted in for almost a week

Rez god, i love this thread.

i still play smash bros 64 with regularity and i can kick ass all over the place with any character.
favorites though would have to be fox or falcon.
i want to learn how to go crazy with yoshi though. i keep trying but i never get to that level where everyone goes "daaaaamn."
the potential is totally there though. i feel it.
my sis can kick a fair bit of ass with pikachu, though she's a bit of a coward too.

it's the only video game i've ever played that i'm really, REALLY good at.

I can get Jigglypuff's Down-B to work 70% of the time I try it on the Melee version. You just have to time it at the exact right time for it to work. Usually it works when you jump above the enemy and use it right when you land down onto them.
I've been playing both Smash Bros. games since they came out and I never knew that.

Dr. V Zelda's ^A movie is pretty nasty to do while you're below someone. Other than that I usually just pick Samus or Falco and blast everyone from afar while they skitter about.

Actually, the character doesn't have to be asleep. But the center of Jigglypuff has to touch the victim for it to work. Sleep is super easy to use on Giga Bowser.


My favorite is Yoshi. His moves just feel natural to me.

Those eggs can be thrown anywhere. And his down + B air attack is so violent.

Schimid Actually I think he's in the bottom tier with Pichu

I found out the other day that Peach and Shiek are both in the top tier.

Emu Why? Bowser rules. He's nearly impossible to knock off on a large level and has some of the most damaging moves.

DamnthatDavid Mewto has some crazy projectile weapons and some of the best grabs.

Winning as Bowser always pissed off my friends.

Dr. Boogie I loved doing Kirby's grab attack on people.

Also, being beaten by Jigglypuff always irritated my friends, so that's a definite favorite right there.

Schimid The best things are the little inside jokes you make inside the game. We do the Mario ^+B move and everyone yells "GIMME THEM DUCKETS"

There's also an opinion that the bumper is decidedly the most dangerous weapon in the game, since my friend is an idiot and is killed by one literally once every single round.

We say "FUCKING PUNCH" too and his taunt is "SHOW ME YOUR BOOBS"

Comrade Rocket i like being mario for one reason. his Up B attack makes that awesome coin sound... oh and droping fireballs on people

Marc Summers Trust me, Ice Climbers are awesome. When your buddy is right next to you, pretty much all your moves hit X2. So down smash hits for about 18-20, side is about 20-24 (and spikes), and people fly far.

Also, I specialize in beating Kirby's. I'm a massive Grabber, and any bitch that tries to pull that stone shit gets evaded and grabbed

On another note, my friend uses Yoshi, who I often thought to be useless, like I've never seen. He's crazy.
