MetalMilitia Just..

- Set the 80gig's jumper to master (check on the HDD which pins to use or if its not there the manufactureres website).

- Put the 30gig's to slave.

- Plug the master in on the end of the ribbon cable

- Plug the slave in on the middle of the cable

- If you already have both plugs on the primary IDE cable used then plug it into the secondary IDE channel but still set as slave.

- Job done.

Ok this seemd easy to me and i thoguht i understood how to since i built my won computer and such. But im so confused. I set one to slave and one i had to take the jumper off becuase it was the only way the directions said it would run its a 80 gb western digital, and i wanted to add this 30 gb western digital that i found laying aorund the house. I know it works but i dont knwo the exact config for it.... Can someone help me on this? Liek whats the configuration? Im alittle confused about like having a boot up disk and stuff? I want my 30 gb to be one it runs on and my 80 gb to be the one to have it to hold all of my shit. HELP!!
