mew barios | i almost thought it was a joke at first, they had a thing on the frontpage about a new hardware accelerated 2d graphics api to replace gdi+ when just a year or so ago they deprecated directdraw. then i realized that's too nerdy to be a joke. still i dont get it. i guess vista got millennium edition'd |

Fathom Zero | I think Microsoft's trying to bury Windows Vista with 7. Or at least lock it under the stairs for the rest of eternity. |

Maybe it works like GTA where most of the 98s and NTs count as single Windows iterations. Though it still doesn't really work. 1. Windows 2. Windows 2.x 3. Windows 3.x 4. Windows NT x.x 5. Windows 95 6. Windows 98/ME/SE 7. Windows 2K/XP/MCE 8. ???? Hmm. Maybe, 1. Windows 1/2/3 2. Windows NT 3. Windows 95 4. Windows 98/ME/SE 5. Windows 2000/XP/MCE 6. Windows Vista 7. Windows 7 |

i thought xp was 7, does ME not count? (not that it'd surprise me) also doing math that would mean vista'd be 8, or 7 even if ME doesn't count, how does this version numbering logic work exactly |

Windows 7 I'm gonna try and grab two of the keys tomorrow, and if I'm unable, I've got the cracked version as an option. If it's better than Vista in terms of resource usage, I'm all over dat. |
