Pee Wee Herman | I liked the moon thing. I despise the Bush administration, but going to the moon is so cool. Besides, there are all kinds of spinoff benefits to science and technology. HOLY FRICKING FUCK, I WANNA GO TO THE MOON!

camacazio | Well I liked it. I don't care WHY people go to space, I just want to see some development. I want to live on the god damn moon.

kellychaos | I thought that the NASA support angle had more of an ET flavor to it. I have serious doubts about the man's planeticity.

mburbank | If Nasa folk really think W. is taking the back to the moon, that's sad. That was a wee little public relations test balloon. It didn't fly, it didn't show up in the state of the union and steroids did. The Moon/Mars thing is already over, and the only way you'll ever hear about it again is if Dems bash W about or people make fun of it on TV.

Cosmo Electrolux | I work at a NASA support desk and these people are now sucking Bush's cock...job security. Nevermind that he has set the country back 50 years and put us trillions in debt...we're going back to the fucking moon!

mburbank | Glow, if you have something to say, just say it. I don't have time for all the crazy, metaphorical parables.

Perndog | If by "went to Yale," you mean "snorted a lot of coke and received a diploma for it," then yes.

Pee Wee Herman | I read it, and I saw the error. He has fucked up simple sentences countless times. This is not news. You're right about how scary it is that a guy who can't properly conjugate verbs is the president of Corporation America. I sincerely doubt he actually learned anything at Yale. he went to Yale, right?

"Then you wake up at the high school level and find out that the illiteracy level of our children are appalling." Now realize- that's our PRESIDENT. As much as I'd like to, I just can't believe he's presenting himself as an example of why his No Child Left Behind Act is so needed. Clinton may have been a philandering prick, but at least he could conjugate verbs. |

Pee Wee Herman | I understood the point just fine. Besides, Bush's intelligence is not exactly new news.

sspadowsky | I think everyone except Max is missing the point, which is that our President is a dumbass. Kindly refrain from ruining the thread any further.

You mean assuming that the president is stupid on account of how he talks like a stupid don't mean nothin'! Maybe, maybe him talkin all stupid an such actually means he's really, really smart! Maybe it means there's this whole thing going on where he really does know how to talk all educated, and really does care about kids gettin their braisn to be good educated, but he's discovered us plain folk can only unnerstan and believe him if'n he talks like us folks! Wow. I guess W. is not a stupid aand he's just using the backward sighcology like you do OAO. Wow. It sure enough is hard to figur you out mister OAO, but when you does, LET THE LARNIN COMMENCE! |

The One and Only... | Any man who thinks that the word "level" is plural has to be a pawn within the political machine of the Republican Party. I refuse to believe that this man holds any real power.

The Edumacation President This is on the White House website, unedited. Apparently they've given up on covering up his verbal gaffes. President Bush Speaks with Nation's Mayors at Winter Meeting Remarks by the President to the U.S. Conference of Mayors Capital Hilton Hotel Washington, D.C. January 23rd, 2004 "If you want to be blunt about what has taken place, sometimes when you don't measure, you just shuffle kids through. Then you wake up at the high school level and find out that the illiteracy level of our children are appalling." |
