Mike Patton's stuff, especially Faith No More. Give Dredg a try, as well. |

re If you're a TOOL fan and you don't own Peach: Giving Birth to a Stone you should. If you like Floyd I'd definitely suggest Porcupine Tree: In Absentia. Some tracks sound a heckuva lot like Floyd but not in that rippoff way. More like paying homage to. I'd also recomend Opeth: Damnation. Its a death metal band doing a completely acoustic album. Damn good stuff. For some miscellanious stuff that might appeal to you I'd suggest: VAST: Visual Auditory Sensory Theater Placebo: Without You I'm Nothing Sunny Day Real Estate: How it Feels to be Something On Mogwai: Rock Action |

It might not be right up your alley, but Bad Religion-"The Process of Belief" is the best album of the new millenium, next to Propagandhi-"Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes". Or get Pig Destroyer-"Prowler In the Yard". |

kellychaos | What about an old "Jethro Tull" album. Maynard's voice sounds something like his at times. Music could use the harder edge of Tool, though. Never understood the flute thing. :/

Ninjavenom | I'll suggest Merzbow's "Tauromachine" because it's good old rock n' roll, along the lines of Local H.

Secret Agent Vomit | You should buy "Top Hits from 1996". It has "Molly" by Sponge and "Hey Now![Girls Just Want to Have Fun]" by Cyndi Lauper. I saw it at K Mart for only $6.99. You better hurry, though, they only had 1 copy! 8-)

Can anyone suggest me a good CD to pick up? Preferably along the lines of Tool, Radiohead, or Pink Floyd. |
