sadie i finally rented a first season dvd thursday and have already watched it twice.

ScruU2wice I may be a nay sayer but I think the whole series seemed really complete to me.

I really wouldn't be able to see where it could go from where it ended without really ruining itself...

MetalMilitia I started downloading this program's first series but its taking mucho long. I hope you are not all big liars and it's good
Mar 1st, 2006 02:49 AM
Rez you lie.

update: i previously didn't care about this show and whether it lived or not. i respected it, but despite being funny, i never laughed at it. irate, my girlfriend bought the dvd bespite the lack of funds because this obscene balldropping on my part was apparently intolerable.
anyway, i found it hilarious for some reason.

i now retract my indiffrernce and join all of you sheep in immensely enjoying this show.

so again rog, you lie. because now i care.

and by "you lie" i mean "please please prove to me that it's true."

Mockery Showtime apparently just picked up the show and ordered 26 new episodes

Belmont Also thought the last 4 episodes were great. I'm starting to wondering if any new shows these days will last 10+ seasons like shows could do 10 years ago. Seems like all new shows are cancelled after just a few seasons.
Didn't they mentioned anything about a movie in the end of AD?
Feb 13th, 2006 01:13 AM
executioneer can i make a sad face emoticon post too
Feb 13th, 2006 12:51 AM
ScruU2wice I read somewhere that this rated lower than WWE wrestling
Feb 12th, 2006 01:09 PM
Royal Tenenbaum My prediction that this was the last season was right. The last 4 episodes were hilarious, and I'm really sad to see this show go. Fucking fox.
Feb 12th, 2006 10:01 AM
glowbelly i'm going to suggest you look up the word "epilogue."

and no, don't start quoting it. please? you'll make me hate it
Feb 12th, 2006 06:10 AM
Juttin Well...it said "On the Epilogue of Arrested Development"

And,that scene was probably there for backup,if they revive it.

They won't,though.

I guess all we can do now is quote it......

"I'm half-machine.....I'M A MONSTER!!!!"

:sadness

James The "Maybe a movie" thing was a play on how the show started. Hurwitz pitched the idea of a movie to Howard, and Ron suggested it might work as a TV show.

The show gave me enough closure, that I'm not going to be upset if the show is officially over. Hurwitz is talented as all hell to pull that off, because I thought I'd never get over the death of this show.

However, I would NOT say no if the show returned. It's all up to Hurwitz to decide if he wants to do it. My only concern is if the show doesn't make it past a 5th season, and we DON'T get the same closure we just got, and THEN I end up being upset.
Feb 12th, 2006 01:11 AM
ScruU2wice yeah those four episodes were pretty good closure. I don't know if they were serious about a movie, but I don't think it would be a great idea.

I think that the series is complete and just about every episode was downright hilarious. Plus it ended coherently even if it got cancelled.
Feb 11th, 2006 06:12 PM
glowbelly i think you're mixing the word "ratings" with the word "reviews."

it got awful ratings and terrific reviews.

get it straight, you fucking turd.

and at epilogue episode. you're silly.
Feb 11th, 2006 01:18 PM
Juttin It got great ratings

It even won 12 emmy's

Last night's episodes were funny, like Mock Trial with Judge Reinhold

Anyways, there's going to be an epilogue episode,I think
Feb 11th, 2006 12:57 PM
glowbelly yes, it was their best show, BUT, it's not entirely fox's fault. they gave it 3 seasons and it never got good ratings. i know, i know, they didn't advertise it that much and they moved it around a lot, but still. three years is a long time.

last night's episodes were wonderful and if that's the last of ad, then i'm happy with the way it ended.
Feb 11th, 2006 12:54 PM
Juttin All people who agree Fox just cancelled it's only good show, and now sucks the most......well,I'm pretty sure everybody knows that.
