chitoryu12 | I think they should have Nintendo Light Guns. The PS2, Xbox, and I believe the Dreamcast had lightguns, and they worked just fine for them.

EverythingWillSuck | There had to more more than 4 for the NES, I'm pretty sure of it. And I doubt there were that many Super Scope games.

They only ever made about 4 light gun games for the NES and 9 for the SNES. Duck Hunt and Hogan's Alley were fun enough, but there was nowhere to go from there, really. |

They were developing a light gun for the 64, but since there were so few FPS games at the time that could've actually used it they canned it. Quote:

ziggytrix | i'm gonna guess it has something to do with Nintendo making less than anticipated profits of the light gun games and accessories.

Why are there no lightgun games on the N64 or Gamecube. As far back as I can remember, the NES had a Zapper and the SNES had a Super Scope 6. Now how come Nintendo`s later systems didn`t have light guns on them? |
