Anonymous The plasma pack for Blood ruled.
Apr 17th, 2003 03:40 PM
Comrade Rocket I FUCKING HATE 56K

It's gonna take 2 hours or so to download.

while its loading I could clean and polish my guns, buy a new box of bullets, load my gun, then shoot myself in the mouth and still have about 30 minutes left.

And Rick Hunter is that dude from Robotech.

AChimp I want the expansion pack for Blood 2... but I wasn't aware that there were any for the original Blood!
Apr 16th, 2003 11:36 PM
Zomboid Oh get the fuck over it. It's meant to be a fun little game you play when you're bored or something, it's not supposed to have any fucking depth.
Apr 16th, 2003 04:45 PM
Cybernetico I got the demo ASA it came out, and it was ok. The time limit is gay but it was fun. As for the full thing Gamespot gave it a 4.8 and rightfully so, it's pointless. Jamesman was right since the game lacks any depth at all whatsoever, and it leaves you wishing there was more point because it has the ability to be an awesome game. I've been looking forward to this game for a month, and the only joy is from when you first get it and you do some stuff, then the next fun part is the uninstallation.

whoreable The graphics arent ground breaking, but they are good. It uses some Unreal engine.
Apr 16th, 2003 12:07 PM
Mockery If you're looking for the most amazing 3D graphics, it's not your game. If you're looking for some good laughs like you had in the first Postal, then you won't be let-down.

Blackjack BLOOD!!!! YEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!

I bought a full copy of Blood plus two extension packs AND the crappy strategy CD guide from Ebay last week for less than ten bux. And I got Blood 2 for about the same amount recently.

Yes, I'm a poor, misguided individual I know.

Anyway, Jamesman can go fuck himself - FPS rules. Give me a PC and keyboard and mouse, and nothing else compares.

As for Postal, I'm downloading it now (thank you Broadband) but I can't say I'm impressed by the screenshots. Looks all a bit Carmageddon 2 to me - too clear cut. I suppose I've just been playing too much NOLF 2.

But the original Postal! What a game! The old school sprite graphics, the blood, the "Ahh My Leg!!!!" exclamations of your victims!!

Awesome.

Zomboid Yeah, as far as fps characters go, Caleb's the coolest. Duke Nukem's just a rip off of a couple movie characters.

PS - Watch "they live" to see the lesser known of the 2 main characters duke rips off. Really, really good movie. Especially if you're a John Carpenter fan.
Apr 14th, 2003 06:22 PM
AChimp A guy named Jon St. John does the voice for Duke Nukem.

The guy who did the voice for Caleb in Blood was sounded cool, too.

its not I was wrong

Duke Nukem was so badass, we would dial to each other on our 14.4 and play together.

whoreable I dont use kazza.

Does anyone else think that voice sounds just like duke nukem? It has been a while since I played it but I think it might be the same voice actor....
Apr 14th, 2003 03:07 PM
AChimp Now I am mad at this demo.

Seven minutes isn't enough time.
Apr 14th, 2003 01:37 PM
Spectre X Whoeable, did you use Kazaa to download it?
Apr 14th, 2003 11:30 AM
AChimp I pissed on the fat guy selling health pipes and he shot me.
Apr 14th, 2003 09:16 AM
whoreable I think the full version does look a bit better texture wise...I am sur ethe reason they hold back on the demo is to keep its size a bit smaller.

The game loads pretty fast for me..but it stinks that you have to load new areas so often. It runs really smooth for me even at 1600x1200 until I get into a big gun fight overall this game is pretty entertaining.

You're taking the game too seriously.

Furthermore, you're sounding like a snotty penis.
