Either it's a bug in the program working in combination with your system configuration, or it's a bad RAM chip. This sounds more like a bad RAM chip to me, though, since you can always "read" any address of memory. If you happen to read the wrong one and work with that value, your program will crash or something, but it won't say that the memory couldnt' be accessed. Does this happen in any other programs? |

Urgent Problem Plz Help i just installed max payne on my computer and a message came up saying: [ The instruction at "0x771c732a" referenced memory at "0x0016a8f8". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate program.] I try to run the game and in the middle of loading the game it goes right back to the desktop. If it does load a game, the textures are all screwed up. I have no idea what the message means, if anyone knows how to fix this problem please help. Thanks Gh0st I'm running on P4 2.6 Ghz, 256 RAM and a geforce 5200 with latest driver installed, and i have already read the max payne read-me troubleshooter. |
