Supafly345 Yeah, and it is commonly stated fact that the hebrew language died out shortly after the death of Christ.

Big Papa Goat But the New Testament was written long after the life of Jesus.

But the New Testament was written in Greek, the scholars of that time.

It's got Latin, Hebrew and Aramaic, and Gibson didn't want to add any subtitles.

Emu Does a movie count as a graven image?

Hugh_Bristic Some of you are real idiots. I'm talking, make-me-wince idiocy. And the one who wants to wear his cool, outrageously zany-because-it's-so-wildly-sacriligious-and-not-at-all-the-obvious-route-to-take t-shirt? I hope God kills you.

He is too old for one. But the real reason is that he doesn't feel he could handle the role of Jesus. He said in an interview recently that he was actually offered the part of jesus on another film when he was younger, but he declined because he believed he wasn't worthy playing him (very humble Catholic man whatever).

I actually want to see this. The word is good on it, except for the churches that don't like a bloody portrayle of Christ- apperently they think he was crucified with towel snappings.

Funny how even a good movie can't be taken seriously when it is connected to religion.
