Rez i'm about to trash it because i've ignored it for so long.
yoshimi was overrated, but it was better than so-so. it was quite good, even if i never put it on anymore.

this new one... i dunno. it's nice enough, but i was never completely behind this band, so as this record is attempting to do all this ambitious 70s vs 00s stuff, i feel really indifferent to it.

ScruU2wice I've only heard the WAND and it wasn't that bad, it just didn't sound like their usual stuff, which is still alot better then alotta other crap. I liked SlowNerveAction alot but I don't know it that's on their.

I'm reserving my judgement on it but I don't expect it to be worse then having to listen to the radio play "paradise city" 4 times on their hour rock block. Not really good way of comparing music but I'm not really a connesiuer. :/

Yoshimi was so-so, i guess. a huge step down after The Soft Bulletin and Clouds Taste Metallic (as well as some of the other earlier ones).
their new album leaked a month or so ago and it's pretty horrible. it's called "At War With The Mystics".

ScruU2wice have they had an album out after Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robot?

because if you think that sucks our tastes aren't in sync.

ScruU2wice I really don't keep up with Music news so I really don't understand what you mean by "the downfall of the Flaming Lips" ?

old news. there was an interview with Steve in Sound Collector (at least i'm pretty sure it was Sound Collector) about the whole ordeal. sometimes i like to blame the downfall of the Flaming Lips on Burns in order to avoid having to face the facts.

I was lookin up the fate of Steve from Blue's Clues and I ran across the little bullet point that said his death was a rumor and that he quit Blue's Clue to work on music. He apparently got help from the drummer of the flaming lips, and I think that he sounds pretty awesome.
