You know what I miss? Back when the American gaming industry was actually creative, with Earthworm Jim, Duke Nukem, and Crash Bandicoot. Now all they pull out of their assholes are generic aliens are attacking shooters, generic terrorists are attacking shooters, generic sports games, and rushed movie games by amatuer developers. The only originality comes from Japan, but even their not always reliable..... The game industry fucking sucks |

True story, when I was in the 10th grade and Clay Fighter came out. A friend and I rented it one weekend while drinking jagermeister that my older brother bought us. So we played Clayfighter and watched my Friday the 13th marathons taped from USA. So later that night I had a crazy dream that I played Clay Fighter with Tommy on a Atari 2600. The game consisted of Bad Mister Snowman running along a atari-ish bridge of colors that went up and down like a wavy bridge. Oh, did I mention that we played the atari on the 1970's era B&W tv set that normally watched Voltron on before going to school in the 1st grade. Ironically enough, I've been drinking jager tonight and chasing it with Kool-Aid. It works. |

Yeah, I really miss the beat em up games too. Specially the Konami arcade games. I loved 2D fighting games in High School, but have a hard time playing them now. Probably the lack of practice. Oddly enough, I was more of a SF2 guy then and now I prefer 2D Mortal Kombat games. |

BlazBlue's netcode is probably the best in any fighting game released so far. The opening animations might lag since synchronizing takes a few seconds (around 10), but as soon as the match starts, it's a perfect framerate, and the game recognizes all of your button presses, as if you were playing offline. Over 100 matches so far, and not a single one of them had any kind of lag or weird teleporting/sliding. Excellent. |
