Skip the candy, go straight to the Suger Cane. But awesome. It really touched me, in my pants. |

Ode to a suger over-load The crunch of sweet candy within my mouth rattles my head with holiday distress. My throat is parched from this sugar caused drought, Instigated by treats in such excess Confection hearts which talk alarm me so! They say such things I don’t know what to do. “Call me!” They scream, and “I love you!” also. I must protect myself! Perhaps I’ll learn Kung-fu… Chocolate I welcome without panic, for it can do no wrong upon my tongue! Neither accosting nor acting manic, fair sweet chocolate is a hero, unsung. Maybe I can lose this hunger for sweet and make habit of food from sources like wheat. -Hobo Renee |
