i don't know who the hell boortz is talking about.. just bizaare. it would be really funny if we had an educated population but it's scary because of the number of people that believe his crap. the first ten minutes of the daily show are pretty darn good lol, oh yea and i think hannity IS a fascist. actually i'd still go so far as to say that most bush supporters are one of the following: racist, classist or just downright fascist.. and i don't use the term lightly either. i did say most not all bush supporters some are just plain ignorant or 'embedded' in the gravy train. |

Seriously? I think it's the latter. You know, I was watching The Daily Show last night, and they had kids reading transcripts from a pre-war episode of Hannity and Colmes. The stuff Hannity was saying was borderline fascist. "Fascist" isn't a term I use lightly; his whole attitude was "You're either with us, or against us." Why do people take this guy seriously at all? |

mburbank | Do you think when Right wingers and Neocons use terms like "Racism" "class warfare" and "Hate Speech" that this is some form of dry wit, or do you think that they actually believe them? | |

Robert Novak make the same claim on "Crossfire"a couple of weeks ago. He insinuated that Richard Clarke's assault upon the Condi Rice was based on racism. Everyone else on the show, thankfully, showed that they have brains, and dismissed him. Boortz is a clown, too. |

Psychic Boortz Boortz says: " To your rank and file Democrat Condoleezza Rice is the modern day equivalent of an escaped slave." He doesn't make any attempt to say what he means by that and it's just as well. I'm a rank and file democrat. I think. Depending on what that means. I don't think of anyone as the modern day equivalent of an escaped slave, accept for maybe actual escaped slaves, and people who stop working for Walmart. Maybe he means that us rank and file dems expect Black folks to be 'enslaved' to a liberal democratic philosiphy, and that Those who don't have 'escaped'. I guess that means we need to capture Condi and Powell and all the other Black conservatives yearning to be free and either kill them or just whip them brutally and return them to the party which owns them. I mean, otherwise his skillfully crafted metaphor would collapse. But if that's what he means, that Conservative Blacks are an 'escaped' portion of a constituency we feel we ought to own, what about Gay Republicans? There's lots more of them. Are they 'the modern day equivalent of escaped slaves' too? Or did tht image just come to Boortzy on account of Ms. Rice being so dusky and all? |
