Teen Cthulhu Fuck yes. Just when I think I'm not really a metal (heavy music in general) kind of guy, something like this kicks my ass. I heard about them in a Hammers of Misfortune interview. I only have a couple of tracks in addition to the ones ninja venom supplied so if iron mitchell's offer is open to the public, I'd be up for it. Here are the tracks I found: http://www.rockandroleplay.com/mp3.htm http://www.hyperrealist.com/mp3/astral_black.html There should be more Lovecraft influenced bands. |

Ninjavenom | If you could rip their demo stuff, that'd be rock incarnate, Mitch. All i have right now is Ride the Blade.

Big Papa Goat | The term grindcore has been around since the early nineties, and hardcore has been around for much longer. Neither are arbitrary terms, so quit yer bitchin about genres

Re: Teen Cthulhu Quote:
Why is it that the people who make music today have to slap "core" onto the end of their music? Is it because it sucks so bad they have to find a new name to describe it? Emocore, thrashcore, grindcore, rapcore |

Teen Cthulhu Here's another band that i forgot about for some bizarre reason. They combine keyboards and hardcore to form some sort of black-metal/hardcore beast. Think of like... symphonic grindcore, maybe? I dunno, but they're awesome. I heard three demo tracks on Audiogalaxy before that went under, and i had them in my posession until recently when i must've deleted the folder by accident or something. This band and The Locust are what got me into grindcore in the first place. :o Listen. :O The Burning Fields Fantastic Wounds |
