Cap'n Crunch | Yes, I got it for 20 dollars at Gamestop, and it can hook up 10 systems. Its working fine, but I really want my club pack to come so I can hide the Gamestop sign with a sticker.

Generator86 | Cap'n- Did you get an AV switch box yet? If so, how's it working out?

Cap'n Crunch | There were some posts after it, I thought you were replyinging to my other post. You should quote when you are answering posts before some of the newer ones.

Cap'n Crunch | I didn't say anything to you Dewey. Mine works fine too, I'm just giving out some of the methods for people with messed up NESes.

Esuohlim | Actually, I have no problems whatsoever with my NES. All my friends' NESes either blink on and off, or have the annoying white lines running down the screen, or will just freeze sometimes. Mine works perfectly, and has been for about 15 years now.

Cap'n Crunch | My method is to put it under your shirt, then blow. Try cleaning them with alcohol and q-tips. That is what causes the blinking light. If that doesn't work, I stick another game on top of the one in. Well, I have to do that with Karate Kid, my game is messed up. I'm getting a multi-thingy tomorrow for all of my systems.

Generator86 | Actually, Cap'n, I don't really have a problem with that. The only thing I have to do for my old NES carts is reposition 'em so they'll play. A lot of times I just get the blinking power light, which pisses me off to no end.

Gonadatron | I too need one of those boxes. Between all the mess in my room and controller cords I risk a broken neck, or at least a broken leg when I try to switch between different things. I have to change all the cords for Sat., VCR, PS2, GCN, XBox, SNES, and N64. My Virtual boy is still hooked up and ready to play. My Game Boy's are used most of the time as I'm too goddamn scared to try to change wires.

Cap'n Crunch | Actually, your Nes isn't ready to play in a blink of an eye. You have to blow the hell out of the cartridges to get them to work.

I've got a splitter box too. Let's see: NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS2, and a GBA are all set up and raring to go in the blink of an eye. I used to have a Dreamcast, but I sold it for something. I can't remember what. I also had an XBox, but I got rid of that for the Gamecube. I hated my XBox. |

OK, if you count actual systems, just three. PSOne PS2 Gamecube Now if EMULATORS count... NES SNES Genesis Game Boy Advance/color/original ol' shitty Game Boy I do still have my NES and SNES... in some form. My NES... I've had it since 1985, and being that it has been in heavy usage since then, it has of course given up the ghost long ago. The SNES.. I have no working controllers for it. Serves me right for having a nasty control throwing habit in the mid 90s. |

Anyway, I recently got one of those A/V splitter, which lets you hook all your systems into one little contraption and with a press of a button the system is ready to go. I put it all on one of those big media center shelves, it's pretty boss. So I have PS2, Gamecube. X-BOX, Dreamcast, Okama Gamestation, and other older systems. |

Blackjack | PC everytime. Can't stand those hoity-toity la-de-dary namby-pampy "Consoles" you speak of.

n00bward | Hmm, lets see if I can remember all of them. I have a PS2, Sega Genesis, NES, Sega CD, N64, Gameboy Color, Game Gear, SNES, GBA SP, and a PSX. And out of those I have all but the PSX hooked up/ready to play.

I only have a PS1 with a NES ROMS Cd, DDR 4th, Metal Gear Solid, and ridge racer r4, and a game boy color with metal gear and ghostbusters 2. Playing RCR on the PS takes up all my time at home, and metal gear on the gbc the time travelling. AHahhahha |

Currently hooked up to one TV (thanks to a cool switch box thingy that I bought for 10 bux) I have: NES SNES Playstation 1 Sega Dreamcast Nintendo Gamecube Panasonic 3DO I could have the Atari 2600 hooked up too, but it just takes up too much space down here. The Nintendo Virtual Boy and the Atari Jaguar are also hooked up to a small TV in our closet that people can sit in. We call it "the punishment room". -RoG- |
