Zbu Manowar That 'lost' episode is one of the most boring I've seen. Definitely a bad script made only watchable because of its status.
Feb 23rd, 2003 01:36 AM
Skulhedface I'd have to say the episode with Anthrax lol

I can't pick just one, but I can tell you the WORST.

The Period Piece
All the hype about that one was blown WAAAAAAY the hell out of proportion. It wasn't BAD, it just didn't deserve the hype. Unless the uncensored version was that much funnier.

Zbu Manowar Might as well use this one. The reunion chatter can't go on forever and was bound to turn into that anyway.

Anyway, the first really good episode had to be the Poppy's by the Tree 2-parter. Not my absolute favorite, but definitely one of the best.
Feb 23rd, 2003 12:29 AM
Skulhedface lol true enough. Good call.

BTW, just out of curiosity, what was your favorite episode? Or do you think I should start a new thread to ask this?

Because it would fit into the whole Bundy badluck thing. Not only did he turn into an alcoholic, but on petty shit.

Skulhedface What state do you live in? I just ask because I'm from Louisiana, where they sell alcohol in grocery stores, and when I lived in Pennsylvania, if I wanted even just a BEER, I had to go to a liquor store (could just possibly be the part of PA I was in, not PA as a whole)

To make this post a little longer, lol... Even Mom 'n' Pop grocery stores sell alcohol of all sorts here. And since when do Mom 'n' Pop stores have the most sophisticated of security systems, lol?

So it IS feasible.

Besides, if he stole wine coolers, that'd only make him a pansy. Why get a charge for shoplifting for wine coolers?

Zbu Manowar But how could he steal something that expensive? A bottle of Jag over here costs $20 and is usually behind the counter. I would expect him to pick the cheapest and easiest to snag without getting caught or chased far.

How about wine coolers?

Jagermeister? Nah, that's too expensive. I'd put a 40 of Red Dog.
But who said Seven PAID for it? That'd make the ending even funnier.

Would've been funny.

Zbu Manowar Yeah, from Ed O'Neill said on the THS special, they didn't even hear the news from the network but from friends or fans. Which is sad, because that was one of the last shows that could have had one kickass finale. You just know they would have all died or something more ghoulish.

I still want them to release the full seasons on DVD, instead of that "Best of Married With Children" crap.
I agree, I couldn't agree more.

(maybe I should leave this type of thing to the Information Man, sorry if I got the name wrong) Married With Children didn't get the courtesy of a final ep. Which is why the last episode was so limp. Everyone assumed that there was going to be another season, there wasn't.

::sighs:: I'll take 'Useless Shit' for $200, Alex.

Zbu Manowar Just found this on the web. I remember seeing this back on newsstands back in 1991. Somehow, it just comes off as extremely freaky.

Now I know why this didn't last long.

Carnivore Who's that riding into the sun?
Who's the man with the itchy gun?
Who's the man who kills for fun!
Psycho Dad! Psycho Dad! Psycho Dad!
He sleeps with a gun, but he loves his son.
Killed his wife 'cause she weighed a ton... Psycho Dad!
Feb 13th, 2003 01:50 AM
Zbu Manowar Definitely. One of my fondest memories of my youth is watching the show and just laughing at it. Anybody remember the first Valentine's Day show where you could call in and see if Al told Peg he loved her?

And possibly didn't send the naked Marcy cake to the Bulls locker room?
Feb 13th, 2003 01:42 AM
Mockery Every time I see an episode where Al sings along with the "Psycho Dad" theme song, a tear comes to my eye. Few comedy shows have ever had such brilliant writing as Married With Children. They really did have some golden years...
Feb 13th, 2003 12:16 AM
Zbu Manowar I always thought the show should have ended with Al dying or gunning everybody down and taking them to hell with him. Think about it, it's the only way it could have ended.

And that Best of Shit is just another way of seling more discs before they finally get around to putting everything out on Season boxsets. Talk about riding that 'lost episode' into the ground.

James I heart Amber. She was teh hotties.

And yeah, Seven was really gay. And I don't mean that as an insult. I mean he would go backstage and have sex with other little boys. He was REALLY gay.

Imagine if he showed up on the reunion.

Ahem, anyway. Yeah, the episodes ended up being really lame towards the end. I think part of that could be blamed on Amanda Bearse (Marcy) becoming the producer. I think then they started adding the cartoon sound effects, it was time to pull the plug.
Feb 5th, 2003 10:31 AM
Mockery They're gonna have a reunion show? That's gonna be... odd.

I still want them to release the full seasons on DVD, instead of that "Best of Married With Children" crap.

Like the Simpsons, the show went on for too long. Near the end, good episodes became scarce.

And I'm still trying to convince myself that season where they threw in the kid "Seven" never happened.
