I noted some very specious use of commas in that post, Guderian. Furthermore, "unintelligible (note the spelling) gibberish" is redundant; gibberish is defined as unintelligible. Uneducated prole. |

Guderian | Notice the lack of a period at the end of Goat's previous sentence. Clearly, this fellow has no communication skills. Regrettably if I were to, by some random chance, meet him in the "real world" I would be unable to understand his unintelligble gibberish. It's unfortunate, because I'm sure he has some good things to say. Don't you, you poor sap?

Big Papa Goat | You anal retentive obsession with grammar is simply an extension of you're feelings of intellectual inadequecy Perndog. And you plainly know nothing about conservatism. Serf.

Just used them wrong. It's TENETS, folks. TENANTS are those weird guys who pay to live in your spare room. And OAO, to clarify EVEN FURTHER, they're in favor of THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CURRENTLY IN POWER, WHO ARE CONSERVATIVES LIKE THEM. It's not a huge cognitive leap! Work with me here. |

The One and Only... | That would mean that right-wingers lean towards maintaining the government or slowly changing it, which I simply don't agree with.

I don't know why my image link won't work. It's a Danziger cartoon. A typical CNN type journalist is in a trench with some soldiers, holding a microphone up to them. Bullets are whizzing by at head level. She's asking them what they think of the Michael jackson Scandal. It's not the viewpoint that makes it funny. It let you ;get' the joke. That's what joke is. Statements may be true or false or something in between but they're just statements. |

Generally, I find right-wing commentators (eg. Rush Limbaugh, Dennis Miller), or their cartoonist not very funny, and I suppose one of the reasons is because they're generally pro establishment, which goes against human nature to root for the underdog. |

Max, I think that's a title, not a thought bubble. But yeah, it didn't strike me as all that funny either. Though I think what saves it from utter pointlessness is that he's really yelling everything, which portrays him as just a little dumber, because if he were going to retract everything he said he'd talk a little more quietly. |

I'm not saying it isn't accurate. It isn't funny. Political cartoons ought to make a point in a humorous way, not just by stating something. It's like friggin' Mallard Filmore. It's a drawing making a statement. It's as if having a cartoon next to the words automatically makes it funny. Here's political cartoon I like. If it were written by your guy, it would feature a man watching a television saying "With all the Important things going on in the world, the media spends it's time covering Michael Jackson!" |

The great thing is, these are things that Dean has more or less said, and turned his back on in one way or another. Although I would rather have Dean in office than Bush, given our Republican-dominated Congress. I like his foreign policy more. |

I don't know, I think jokes should be more than statements. Or did you mean that drawing Dean as a fat guy was funny? Or was it the way one sattement set was randomly in a thought baloon? I mean, I think W is an idiot, but a drawing of him saying "I am an idiot" wouldn't strike me as really funny, even if he was saying it through a megaphone and had a thought balloon that read "I'm not very smart". |
