they call it 'new years' because its the only holiday where drinking and parading around in obnoxiously shiny outfits becomes acceptible..... aside from mardi gras and just about every day in provincetown, that is.

they certainly get defensive in my part of the country....they lash out at "idolators" and "false prophets", but if question them, you're a God hater or a christian basher....they claim to be the victims of harassment and yet they are the very ones doing the harassing. I love this place....
