Miss Modular To quote the Daily Show:

"We're here, we're queer, we run both houses, most corporations, get used to it."

Max, I think in your sarcasm, you accidentaly discovered the origins in the entire punk movement.
To wear plaid, large shoes, bees wax, then get completely shit-faced and beat people up for the thrill while listening to the Ramones?

Libertarian, or I guess Objectivist punks aren't unheard of. Punks in high school used to have "Who is John Galt?" patches, but that might've just been for the sake of being different more than anything else....

Of course, they're sheep to begin with, so their being drafted into the Republican party is an inevitability.
Actually, Good Charolette is going to be on the Rock Against Bush CD. And, if you want, I can point out plenty of sheeple on the left side of the spectrum.

I'm not saying they aren't on the right, but its not like anybody has a monopoly on them.

Emu Are there any conservative hippie sites?

KevinTheOmnivore 1. I like how in referencing something I'm not even sure David Kay said, they simply posted the Telegraph's website. Right. This is the same paper that jumped over every faux weapons lead from the war's start up until now.

2. They provide a link to WABC 77 AM. That's ny based, I wonder if they are....?

A Statement of our Mission
At Conservative punk, our mission is threefold:
1. To inform today's youth that identify themselves with the punk scene with the facts, rather than rumor and conspiracy theory.
Quote:
2. To encourage today's youth to register to vote and become engaged in politics.
As long as it's conservative, right?
Quote:
3. To encourage youth voters to draw there own conclusions rather than indoctrinate them into a certain way of thinking.
Then why only conservative links? Why not liberal links as well to balance it out?

Quote:

I love my country, and moreover, have conservative political views. Does this make me an oddity in the scene? Of course not. What I've learned over the years is that when you're at a show, and you meet some punk for the first time, it's not a guarantee that they will be Anti-American scum.
Apparently having liberal views makes you Anti-American scum.

There's some reasonable stuff on there, but can't conservatives find someone better than Rush Limbaugh?

Quote:
What was most enraging to me was, after claiming our President "is a dangerous and impulsive man" and "...that not all those countries and groups out there that have been in the news lately aren't all working together", he goes on to say that "WE, on the other hand, run around committing the VERY SAME abuses that we condemn these nations for..." Is he saying that 9/11 was our fault??That we somehow are responsible for and should begin to "understand" their reasoning for killing 5000 Americans?
Whubbadafubba? How in hell did he draw the conclusion that he's saying that 9/11 is our fault?
Quote:
I think Brendan and everyone who agrees with him are the ones who are exploiting the genuine tragedy of The World Trade Center. I think you are dangerous. I think you are part of the same movement that almost destroyed this country in the 1960s. You don't know what you're talking about and you're blind to the ramifications of your ignorance, cynicism and disenchantment.
So much for agreeing to disagree. And I don't see how these opions somehow is exploiting the WTC tragedy, or neccessarily makes anyone ignorant, cynical, or disenchanted.
