Ebbers of Worldcom, GUILTY on all eight counts! FINALY! Justice for one of these white collar bastards! 11 BILLION in corporate fraud and his defense was he didn't know anything about accounting and didn't bother to learn! His DEFENSE was he was an incompetent rubber stamper for which he made MILLIONS a year! He could get up to eighty five years. I sincerely hope he's in jail for the rest of his life. I know I sound without compassion, but penny ante drug users get sent up the river every damn day, and they can't afford lawyers. This son of a bitch hurt all his employees, all his stockholders and rocked the countries economy. Our prison system is overcrowded, cruel and barbaric, and if ANYONE should be subjected to that kind of shit, it's guys like Ebbers. |
