TeMeTNoScE Well i think an Xbox should count as a computer, so i would have 3 in my room; laptop, desktop, xbox, and 2 others in the house. Total of 5

Command Prompt We have 2 computers. And they are both networked by a Linksys wireless router! Soon my xbox will be networked the same way too.

PS - Hey Blue, did you ever think that the company that made the commodore 64 was called COMMODORE, dumbass? Also, the games are already available everyware, lazy.

FS One old 386 that I don't want to part with, the one I'm using now - an outdated, rattling piece of crap which just happens to have net access, my dad's comp which is much better than mine, even though he literally never uses it, plus a laptop that my dad once bought for himself, literally never used, and more or less gave to me.

I swear, my dad buys shit just to tell people he's bought it. Now he wants to buy a digital camera even though he probably hasn't taken a picture in thirty years.

AChimp As of right now, we have 3 computers that are fully functional (mine, my brother's and my dad's) as well as numerous ones that are just sitting around and pieces to make at least two more boxes with dozens of extra spare parts.

Off the top of my head, the functional computers that we have sitting around right now basically consist of:
- 1 Commodore 64
- 1 pimped-out XT (2MB of RAM with a Hercules video card!)
- 3 386SX Compaq laptops (2 have LCD screens that are fucking up)
- 1 486DX2 (I used to have a 486DX4 but I sold it o_O)
- 2 Pentium 233

With the parts, I could build a few more 386/486 machines. Maybe a Pentium, but I'd have to look around to see if we have a spare CPU.

My dad and I wired our basement for an ethernet and we have a Linksys router connected to another hub and the cable modem, with 6 outlets (anything more than that and we have to pull out the 30' extension cables).

We also have an HP laserjet network printer.

soundtest I have 2 of my own (1700 256ddr 40gb desktop and a PII233 192mb 4gb laptop), and there are 3 more in the apt. that belong to my roommates. I've got them all networked with DSL modem through a DLink.
Aug 31st, 2003 03:11 PM
Mockery 2 computers. 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs... I've got them networked together using a Linksys wireless router so we can both share the cable modem and transfer files from one computer to the other. Didn't take long at all to setup actually.
