Greek god of wine, agriculture and fertility of nature
Patron god of poetry, song, and drama
AKA Bacchus

Why he might be annoying:
His female worshippers, the maenads, tore through the countryside after consuming enormous amounts of wine, engaged in frenzied orgies, and often killed animals and people with their bare hands, and eat their flesh.
He drove King Lycurgus mad and caused him to hack his own son to death with an axe.
He flayed the king of Damascus alive while he was under a curse of insanity from Hera.
When the women of Argo refused to worship him, he drove them mad and they devoured their nursing infants.
Nemesis drove him insane and caused him to rape the demi goddess Aura.
Why he might not be annoying:
He fell in love with the princess Beroe and even offered to rescind his status as a god for her.
When an Athenian graciously welcomed Dionysus to the Attic peninsula, the god reciprocated by giving the gift of the vine.
When Ino tried to commit suicide by throwing herself into the sea, Dionysus would not let her die, and she was transformed into a sea goddess.
When Butes attempted to rape one of the female followers of Dionysus, the god drove him insane.
When Ariadne had been seduced and abandoned by Theseus, and was about to commit suicide, Dionysus consoled her, and they eventually married.
