Old Jun 26th, 2004, 08:50 AM        my view on music
I rarely buy CD's. I've heard all the music from the past and sometimes I want to go back and re-live it but at an inflated cost that pisses me off to no extent. For a year now I have been listening to bands on Garageband.com or Soundclick.com and I think this is the future of music. I was listening to the radio and they mentioned that some band CDs will have a new protection preventing you from burning an MP3 (the new one with the STP singer). Now it's going to be that you spend $20 for a CD that you own and you can't transfer it to an MP3 I don't go to Kazaa anymore and I'm thinking of trying one of these pay as you go but is this going to dissapear in a few years because the commercial bands don't want to have people download there songs? even from a legitamate paying site?
