everyone is entitled to their own opinion. ive never seen a worse page in my life. Im a raver, a phat pants wearing, glow stick weilding teenie that loves dancing to repetive electronic music, ive done E, and sucked on a damn pacifier, seen and given lightshows, and again, danced my ever loving ass off.

now if im right, according to the views on this site, all of the above is shit. right? well if id never heard of it id agree. no doubt. the first time i saw a raver i said "what the fuck is that?" sooner or later if you have a BRAIN, you begin to notice these people (my people) have a reason for every little twisted characteristic about them and their gear and clothes. as far as pacifiers go, there is no explanation other then you do E, or your one funny guy.

I know E fucks up the brain. And weed coats my lungs with resin. But see Im a stupid kid, and stupid kids like me love to have fun, when the fuck else are we gona be able to do something so bizzare and so fun. As you see, from one or 2 junglist ravers on this message board, most ravers grow out of the candy wearing stage, and E flipping stage. (it gets boring, and musik is so much better then chem on your brain). Im not out of this stage, but who knows how long it will be til I am.

Just like you, or some of you at least, ravers go through stages, and some of them who believe so strongly in things like PLUR, or music, or drugs, they wont change. People go through phazes, and people live their own life styles, if you cant respect that then whats your purpose for wearing the clothes you wear, listning to the music you listen to, or taking the drugs you take, or believing in something you hold so High? We ARE just ppl, an odd breed of ppl yes, but ppl, we have feelings, and most of us beleive in that four letterd phraze PLUR. Peace Love Unity and Respect. sorry folks, no matter what you say, you just cant get any better then that..

No we dont all believe the world or some parts of it will just magically some day be peacefull and good, but what the hell is wrong with beleiving in it as far as morals go, and as far as be-friending someone else with the same belief?

Ive been to many, many raves, Im only 17, but Ive had my share of parties, done stupid things, and had my dosage of reality smack me in the face a few times. Drugs and Druggies are no doubt common at raves, no doubt for sure, but Ive seen TV, and news paper ads, magazine Articles, you name it, most the time, its over-exadurated to the point where one starts to believe all ravers are druggies. That is bullshit.

My goal as a raver isnt to try to be different, or make a point, or be someone "Cool". fuckin i do what i do cuz i wanna fuckin do it. fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck, i said fuck so many times cuz i wanted to, big fucking deal.... fuck.

I know not all of you are Punks/preps/goths/skaters or ravers.. but lets take 1 last paragraph to make an example. I could totally trash on the bracelets punks wear, the brands preps wear, the make up goths put on, and the stupid shit skaters do for attention... but see im SMART enough to know each person is an individual, no matter how many ppl are the same kind of person, each with their own personality, and likes.

Ill be honest, I fuckin hate abercrombie, i HATE preps, and I FUCKING HATE SKATERS.. you know why?? cuz the clothes they wear, and the attitudes i get from them. See thats not enough for me to say out loud these ppl are all full of shit, because its just my own stupid opinion, and alot of these ppl are really nice. Youll notice, today punk/ska/emo are some of the trendyest of the trendy for all us teenies... and even some older heads. . . I dont like where this trend is going, cuz nowadays, you cant even tell a skater from a prep. (not bad, or good.. just weird in its own little way).. and most of these ppl would look at a raver and laugh.. Kurt Cobain once said "You laugh at me cause Im different, I laugh at you cause your all the same".. that statement holds a strong position in my mind.. Thid doesnt mean Im rebelling from the "normal" people.. it just means hey, wow, I have characteristics of a smaller known grp..

But i noticed you talked about drugs alot in that post, and its people like you that give the scene a bad name. Like how you go to raves to get fucked up on drugs, but you say you go to dance all night. You could just as easily do drugs on your own time & not fuck it up for everyone else. I learned that lesson a long time ago. I found out i was missing some really good talent because i was staring at a flyer for an hour because it was moving. If youre really into the scene as much as you seem to be, why not do something prsitive for it? And that doesnt mean just go around & be really nice to people and give them hugs & shit. That means there is a time for legal activity & there is a time for illegal activity, but if you mix them, the bad outweighs the good and you fuck up everyone elses good time.

But the whole thing is, that you aren't going to change people's minds, that much should at least be obvious. Oh? E wasnt allowed? well then, i guess when you have a sign outside your party that says "No E" then people really take you seriously and abide by the rules.... Dont EVEN sit there & tell me that there werent kids at that party fucked up on drugs. And aside from that, just because there would be no E, that doesnt mean no drugs in general. You think that blocking one drug out of the scene is going to help it in the views of the people trying to shut us down? Think again. True enough, which is why I agree with Buddha over Plur Kid. In EVERY scene there's going to be someone who completely ignores rules and standards, etc. Just because there would be someone saying "No E", does that mean absolutely everyone will follow it? Case in point: Most bars, you have to be 21 to get into, let alone drink at. Absolutely NO alcohol until then. But does that stop people from trying and getting around it? Theories and real life don't sit too well together...
