This cat preys almost exclusively on snowshoe hares and because of this the Canada lynx's population fluxates with the hares. The Canada lynx is found in Canada and the northern United States. Due to the cold climate it lives in, its paws have specially adapted to act as snowshoes in the snowy terrian.
