Being engulfed in studies and travel for most of the past year, I haven't bothered to keep track of any music news until recently. So, I decided recently to get back in touch with my favorite band, Stone Temple Pilots, and have since fallen in love with them all over again. So, I did a little research and found out that they've officially broken up. I can't explain why, but my heart sank when I read those words. I think when I tell people that they're my favorite band, they just assume that it's because they share my initials. They definitely were the most under-rated band of the 90s, as much of a rollercoaster it was to keep up with them as a whole on top of Scott's exploits.

So yeah, I'm sad now. It doesn't help that my STP soul-mate has hated me for the past few years, but that's old news. Maybe I should check out Velvet Revolver.
