The best Prince songs

I have recently become obsessed with Prince, but I know a lot of top 40 hits he had weren't his best. So I am just wondering what are the best songs and albumbs of his so I can buy the best ones.

Definatly get 1999, Dirty Mind, Sign O The Times, Purple Rain, Parade. If you want to get like a Prince starter kit, I suggest the Girl 6 soundtrack which has a lot of his great songs, and the exclusive "How Come You Dont Call Me Anymore" which is awesome.

Yes, Darling Nikki is easily my favorite song too (so far). I probably going for Purple Rain first it seems.

I kinda liked the Batman sountrack too, even though none of the songs individually were memorable.

Party Man from the Batman soundtrack. I loved that scene in Batman, where the Joker and his posse defiled those paintings to that song.
