i looked about for rom hacking stuff last night and found a super mario bros text hacking program. within about 30 seconds of that i made my first rom hack.
now instead of '1 player game' it has 'i like toast' and instead of '2 player game' it has 'we like toast'
all i need to do is change the coins into toast and im set
