My right ear's blown out (torn eardrum). I haven't been able to hear anything other than a low rumbling sound from that side since then. I have an appointment with my ENT tomorrow, so I'll let you all know if they expect this to have lasting damage.
Perforated eardrums are sucktastic (experience). Seriously I hope things go OK with your ENT. Good luck.
