my daughter wrote this for rememberance day (she's 11)
 Trenches below

The bedraggle trenches down below the dirt
The unlit hopes roaming around and all that's left is hurt.
 Pain, courage, and bound
 To come around
 The victorious and found.
The overcoming feel of the inferno blaze
the triumph of all that is glazed
 It's called rememberance day
 The day we pray
for those who paid the price for all who live today
